The Second Carter Term

October 22, 2012

The last four years have been, in essence, the second term of Jimmy Carter. It is the 1970′s all over again. We used to call Carter the worst President we ever had. Now, that distinction belongs to the current resident of the White House.

For example, the economy is in ruins, currently, just like during the Carter administration. Unemployment is high, gas prices are high and the housing market is a disaster. The tax-and-spend policies of Obama mirror the ones of Carter. And the national debt mounts every day.

Secondly, the Middle-East is ablaze just like it was thirty years ago under Carter. Right now, Iran is threatening Israel, and we stand idly by. It is uncanny how similar things are in Iran today as they were back then. It was no coincidence that we got our hostages back as soon as Reagan was sworn in and the inept Carter was gone.

Thirdly, the world has lost respect for the United States under this administration just like it did under Carter. Hopefully, when Romney is sworn in we will regain the stature in the world that we had under Reagan.
