Is the White House Lying About Libya?

October 18, 2012

The “wheels” seem to be coming off of the current administration’s foreign policy. The Libyan embassy coverup is now becoming a major “thorn” in the side of the Democrat hope to retain the Presidency. Basically, their lies are “catching up” to them.

In the days following the Sept. 11 Benghazi attacks, the administration continued to say that it was due to a video that no one had seen. Jay Carney, Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama all said that the killing of the U.S. Ambassador to Libya was due to this film and not terrorism. The administration sent Susan Rice, U.S. Ambassador to the U.N., onto five Sunday political shows to continue this coverup. But it is all falling apart now.

Yes, the administration has misled the American people about this tragedy, and the White House is paying the price at the polls. The latest Gallup Poll has Mitt Romney up 52% to 45% among likely voters nationwide. Someone has said, “With the Watergate coverup no one died, but, here, four have been killed in this scandal.”

I believe that the current occupier of the white house, knowing nothing about foreign policy, put in place people who likewise were not up to the task. They all got caught with their pants down so to speak. This guy thinks being president means living like a rock star and does not truly grasp the importance of his job both here and overseas. I have good friends on the front line who have served more than one tour. They were stunned when Obama took three months to put boots on the ground McCrystal was requesting. Then it comes to light extra security was denied at the consulate and in fact some security was even pulled. He wants to keep his job but only the blind cannot see the depth of the failings in Libya. Of course there are lies, he has not yet been honest about his record over the last 4 years. He cannot win and should not win, I am blown away so many people accept failure as an outcome. It is because a majority of his base set no bar for him to reach and due to that they will not view anything as a failure…Even dead Americans.
