Who won the debate?
October 17, 2012
Although our current leader had to win this second debate, after performing so poorly in the first one, he did not come through. Mitt Romney beat him on the facts, especially on the Libyan coverup. And I believe that this debate will continue to help Gov. Romney in the polls and, ultimately, propel him into the White House.
Gov. Romney explained how the country is imploding economically with gas prices almost two dollars higher than four years ago, and how the unemployment rate has been unacceptable during the term of our current leader. Overall, the last four years have been a disaster.
But what is really troubling, is what Gov. Romney called “the unraveling of the foreign policy.” And he noted how the administration has changed its story on the Libyan embassy killings. And moving forward, this issue could really damage the reelection chances of the current resident of the White House.
Simply put, the facts won the night for Gov. Romney. And the facts are great to have on your side in an election.
Throughout my entire life I have been taught since as far back as I can remember, when you talk to a person you look them in the eye. Obama did not but rarely look Romney in the eye. Also Romney has facts not rhetoric on his side. In a man to man match-up Romney won he carried himself better and refused the unsupported statements made by Obama.
Hi Troy. I believe that Mitt won in a “landslide.” I hope it is a similar result in three weeks.
