Jesus told us, regarding the end of the age and His coming, “‘But about that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father’” (Matthew 24:36). He did give us many clues, however, as to the nearness of His return. These signs that He spoke about seem to be occurring with greater frequency.
Here are the events that Jesus told us would be happening just before His appearing: “Then he said to them: ’Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be great earthquakes, famines and pestilences in various places, and fearful events and great signs from heaven……There will be signs in the sun, moon and stars. On the earth, nations will be in anguish and perplexity at the roaring and tossing of the sea. Men will faint from terror, apprehensive of what is coming on the world, for the heavenly bodies will be shaken. At that time they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. When these things begin to take place, stand up and lift up your heads, because your redemption is drawing near’” (Luke 21:10, 11, 25-28).
His statement, “‘nations will be in anguish and perplexity at the roaring and tossing of the sea,’” is what we are experiencing currently. But the good news is this: the King of Kings and Lord of Lords is in control, and we need not fear. If we are His children, we know that our Savior is on the throne, and that we are secure in Him.

Nice job. This is really cool.
Thank you, Drew.
I Love Storms! Not sure why??????Thank you for sharing.
Hopefully, this storm will dissipate and no further damage will be done. But at this point (Sunday, 4:19 pm EST), it looks like New Orleans could be in for a rough time. They definitely need prayer.
