Prayer Request
June 15, 2012
In my lifetime, I have used many means to request prayer, and the Lord has answered those petitions in miraculous ways. I have not, however, used this blog to send out a prayer request, but I am now. Sometimes, when one gets desperate enough, “you will use all means possible.”
I have experienced several car accidents over the last two decades, six in all. These vehicular “rear enders” have done much damage to the cervical vertebrae (neck) of my spinal column and several physical impairments have resulted.
First of all, in 1995, I began to have “spells” of fatigue and extreme tiredness. I was sent to the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, FL where I was diagnosed with chronic fatigue syndrome.
But in the last few years, my condition has worsened. I, now, have a real struggle with balance, coordination and some slurred speech. It has been, to say the least, tough at times. But I am not discouraged.
I have been looking at Scriptures on healing for the last three days in my personal devotional time, and they have been inspirational: James 5:15, Psalm 103:3 and 1 Peter 2:24. Jesus paid for our healing at Calvary.
So I am asking all of you who follow this blog to pray for me to be healed of these injuries. Also, if you feel led by the Lord, re-blog this post or send it as a link to those who you know to have great faith. In addition, if you felt led to use facebook, twitter, etc. that would be great. All I can say is, “thank you and God bless you.”
Please give me a call. God bless you.
I will. Is your number on your website?
Number listed in Gravatar.
Bolling, when would be the best time to call you?
My dear brother; I have compassion for you. I know what you must be going through first hand. I have survived 3 strokes and I still have mini-strokes. I too get tired quickly; my flesh hurts; my body is more swollen than free from fluid. I’m very forgetful unless under the anointing; my legs are a wee bit unstable. But in and through it all I know that I am HEALED! I don’t pay too much attention to what my fleshly body is going through because it can be too easy to focus on that than what the Word of GOD has said that I am. I’m certain that you have a perservering spirit; keep going continue to stand on the Word of GOD regarding healing; speak healing (the scriptures) over yourself. You may have to look in the mirror and get aggresive until your flesh understands that this is not a game for you and you are not going to stop telling your flesh to get in line with the Word of GOD. Several times a day mutter a healing scripture; no one need know what you are doing. Command your flesh to get in line. I do this everyday several times a day because I refuse to give in to the aches and pains; I refuse to allow being tired to stop me from traveling and teaching GOD’s Word. Another thing; when I’m in an anointed atmosphere I become as youthful and strong and vibrant as a 25 or 30 year old. Once the anointed leaves my flesh reminds me that it is weak and I remind it that I am HEALED.
Love you my friend.
Thank you, dear brother, for the encouraging words. Yes, I will not allow myself to despair. I know that the Lord is “working all things for my good.” I will take the good advice from the Word that you gave me. Thank you for your prayers. God bless you, and I love you as well.
Praying for you my friend!
Thank you, Patricia.
You are most welcome, Scott!
Scott, I pray that God will provide you comfort and healing. I pray that he will also give you understanding, faith, and peace as you walk through this tough time. Hang in there, bro.
Eddie, the Lord has given me strength during this period of my life, and it has been through people like you that I been encouraged and uplifted. God bless you.

I Just prayed for complete and total healing for you. I will continue to stand w/ you in prayer for healing.
Thank you, Dan. The prayers are much appreciated. God bless you.
I completely understand your condition. I have several over-lapping conditions with CFS as one of them. This I KNOW, our Loving Father gives us the strength we need to carry out the work He gives us to do. With that in mind, I am praying (in faith believing with thanksgiving) He will bring you through this and He you in His care!
May He bless you as you watch our Lord and Savior work mightily in your life!
Stephanie
Thank you, Stephanie, for your prayers and concern. The results of your prayers are being felt. God bless you.
I am so sorry Scott to hear of your injuries and subsequent complications. May Holy Spirit touch you with grace and strength and lead in the way of healing and blessing. God be with you as you walk this journey of faith. Peace.
Thank you for praying. May the Lord bless you in every way.
Scott, I have put you on my prayer request page, and will put this on my fb as well. I will pray for you until you tell me otherwise. Your brother in Christ, Wayne
Wayne, your prayers are what I need more than anything. Thank you for your desire to pray. God bless you.
Scott, I will repray tonight. I need to hear clearly what the Lord is saying. Blessings. Jose
Jose, you are a blessing, brother. I believe that God will speak to you concerning this need.
Its funny, Scott, I was praying for you. By no means has the fullness of God’s answer come. I had a vision of your spinal cord and what I thought was your hip bones. I will persevere until God gives us a definite answer.
Jose, thank you for seeking God on my behalf.
I am getting more revelation. I think that I need to telephone you.
Ok, Jose. Do you still have my phone number?
Thanks for your kind words Scott. My wife and I will keep you in our prayers. Gods grace, mercy, and peace shield you from the fiery darts of the devil. Amen
Robert, I appreciate your keeping me in your prayers. I know that God is going to do great things!
You are in my prayers, because I know exactly what you are going through. Make sure they check your disk in your neck. It took over 20 years for a doctor to finally do that for me, and found that the car accident I was in had damaged the disks, and that is what caused me balance problems, migraines and so much more. They had waited so long to check for it that the disks had leaked all the fluid, causing my spinal column to press down on the nerves in my neck, actually killing some beyond help. That is why I have fibromyalgia, and have no feeling in my left fingers anymore. It caused a growing weakness in my left arm, shoulder, and hand, so that I have trouble holding onto things, even my purse at times. I ended up having to have surgery to replace the 2 disks, and that helped with some of the problems. Please don’t let it get as bad as this, and ask them to check the disks now. I do believe God can heal us, but I also believe that sometimes he chooses not to because it will teach us a lesson. For me that lesson has been that I can not do it all by myself, and that I need to depend on him and others. I’ve learned a lesson of trust through this that has been greater than any lesson I would have learned in being healed. I also have learned to hold on to his promises, and look gratefully to the day when I will have a new body in Heaven. Through this the Lord has given me the blessing of encouraging others who are going through the same thing. I’ve had to learn that I am not immortal, and that each day is another precious day to look to God to see me through it.
Bonita, thank you for the great words of advice and for the prayers. I am believing that God is going to finish the work He has started.
He always does, Scott!

I want to ask all my readers who believe in the healing power of Jesus Christ to lift Scott in prayer. I’ve been through what he is going through because of a car accident back in the 1980′s, and from past physical abuse. Please lift this brother in Christ, to the Lord for healing, and the doctors he is seeing for guidance in helping Scott. Thank you!
Bonita, thank you for reblogging the prayer request.
You are welcome! What is the internet worth if it doesn’t serve God’s purpose of bringing his people together in prayer and fellowship?

Terry, thank you for reblogging “Prayer Request.” God bless you.
prayers are being said for a wonderful healing
Terry, thank you so much. My faith is being strengthened by people like you.
I found your post re-blogged in Terry Shepherd’s blog. I am now following you and have shared this post on Facebook and Twitter. I will also add you to my list of people I pray almost daily for. God bless and keep you and fill you with joy – which is His strength.
Diane, it is, indeed, encouraging to know that there are people like you who are willing to lift others up in prayer. May God continue to use you for His glory and honor.
I am called as an intercessor and though there have been periods in my life when prayer didn’t happen nearly enough, I suppose that praying is something I just have to do. I have well over 300 people on my prayer list, some church members, some family, some friends and some internet friends like you. I often spend several hours in prayer in any given day, but it’s only by the power and inspiration of the Holy Spirit that I could ever do it.
Thank you for following my blog. I do have a much more comprehensive blog at http://diane-stephenson.com That is my main one. Unfortunately I have not had much time lately to post to either blog. I’m hoping that will change soon.
God bless you, Diane.
Consider it done my Brother…
Be encouraged!
Stephen, thank you for your care and concern. God bless you.
I will add you and the family to my prayer list.
Walk daily with God at your side!

I will join the many who are praying for you as well! I know God is going to heal you, whether while on this earth or not. But while you are on this earth, I believe He is going to grant you relief!
I have tweeted this post, posted it to facebook and am about to reblog it to my blog. I wish you all the best and will be following to keep up with your progress!
I can really relate to the neck and back injuries and the pain later on down the line! I injured my neck at work over 15 or so years ago and still have some difficulty with it. Then I injured my back a few years ago, went through numerous treatments and finally had surgery last August. It has done very well since with the exception of my not being able to do all that I had done before! Oh well, gotta take the bad with the good, right?
Trust in God, lean on Him, study His word. He will take care of you!
God bless!
Judy Hall
Judy, I want to thank you for agreeing with me that Jesus is going to completely heal me of all injury and disease. May the Lord bless you richly!
I’m agreeing with you in prayer also that you’ll be healed of these injuries if it is the Lord’s will in your life, Scott. I’m praying for you as well. God bless you.
Thank you for your prayers, and I believe that it is the Lord’s will for total healing for me.
Scott, we will keep you lifted before our Lord, our Great Healer and Provider. May He bring healing into your physical life and strength and encouragement into your spiritual walk. Blessings, good friend!
Thank you, Mike. God bless you.

Susan, may the Lord bless you. I appreciate your faith that I will be completely made whole in Jesus’ name! Yes, to God be the glory!
The Lord’s arm is not too short. How wonderful that He promised GREATER miracles than those witnessed during His earthly ministry. May the same power that raised our Lord and Saviour heal and strengthen and equip you for every good work, with awesome rejoicing. I will share with a prayer team. God is faithful and He will DO it!
Just wondering how you are doing? Still keeping you in my prayers.
I spent three hours in prayer today. I am going to a revival in Orlando, FL tomorrow and Friday (near my home). I believe that God is going to do great things! You can watch this revival at bayrevival.org tomorrow night at 7:30. Many healings have occurred at this two-year revival. God bless you.
I will be praying for your healing then. May God give you wholeness.
Amen.

“Father, I do not know this man, but you do. You know everything about him because you are His creator. As You watch over him each day, may he allow You to use him in whatever condition he is in. And, Father, if it fits into Your plan for his life, heal him. Thank you Father, for hearing my prayer and for all you do! Amen!

Oh Scott, I’m so sorry to hear about you illness, but we serve a great God who still heals today. You are in my prayers and we will pray until God shows up in your life big time. I will share this with some of my trusted and praying friends.
God bless you with speedy healing!
Walter
Thank you, Walter. I am believing that the full manifestation of healing is coming soon!
Hello Scott,
Thank you for sending me your prayer request. I will join my faith with yours for complete healing. I totally believe in healing. Have you read my book DARE to Believe yet? I highly recommend it you are believing for healing.
Hi Becky,
No, I haven’t read your book. I need to get it. God bless you. Thank you for the prayers.
Scott, I will gladly pray for your healing brother. My wife and I have had our own issues with illness and it really chaps my hide when I think of all the pain and discomfort that the devil deals out every day. The devil is a liar and he is constantly trying to kill, steal, and destroy.
This is my prayer for you brother.
Dear Heavenly Father,
Your Word tells us that if the Spirit dwells in us, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to our mortal bodies through the Spirit (Romans 8:11)
I pray that Scotts body would be quickened by your perfect Holy Spirit. That You would set every molecule and atom to its correct and perfect place that You our perfect creator intended.
Dear Lord I bind up any spirit of infirmity off of Scott in the perfect name of Jesus Christ. And I loose the spirit of love, strength, and a sound mind that your have given to your children. The name of Jesus Christ is higher than the name of injury and illness. The blood of Jesus does a perfect work in the healing of Scotts body.
Dear Father I pray that all the devil has taken from Scott through this infirmity will be restored to him and his family. Father I pray that you would renew Scotts youth, that he would feel 20 years younger and that his body would be set to the perfect condition that you created it. Anything the devil ment for evil; the Lord will turn for good and I claim that Scott is healed in the name of Jesus Christ!!
In the precious name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, Amen.
James, I receive everything that you prayed in the name of Jesus. Thank you, brother.
Have prayed and will continue, Scott. Keep believing for the best. Faith connects us to His healing power!
Thank you, RJ. God bless you.
Praying for you Scott! Stay strong!
Thank you, Charina. God bless you.
Special prayer for you Scott!
Thanks and God bless you.
Be blessed, be healed, be made whole… Thinking and praying for you my brother!
Thank you, Walter.
Hello Scott! First let me apologize for the late response…somehow, I let this slip and I sincerely apologize! Please know I stand with you in your fight of faith! I have responded more personally in an email. Also, I have placed you on the Prayer List on my site. God bless!
Hi Sebastian. Thank you for praying for me. God bless you, also.
It is my pleasure! Bless you my brother!
Scott,
I am praying for you and will pass along your request. Allow yourself to rest in Christ’s grace and peace. Keep us posted.
Thank you so much.
What a wonderful blog. .
As for dealing with formidable health issues, I’ve been there many times. I woke up on a Sunday morning with fullblown RA at the age of 29. I suffered with pain and disability and felt like a guinea pig for rheumatic drugs for 6 years. I literally could not move without medication. I prayed, read healing scriptures and studied a book on healing.
I clearly understood that God could heal me, but did He want to? I knew that I needed faith. And, I knew that “faith comes by hearing the Word of God.” But, I was simply thinking that meant faith naturally comes from reading or hearing the Bible. Then God gave me the passage in Malachi 4:2, “But unto you that fear my name shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in His wings;” So, I waited and believed. Then, God gave me a rhema word from Isaiah 53. “Who has believed our report? And to whom has the arm of the Lord been revealed?” My spiritual ears were opened to receive the truth that God’s arm is revealed to those who believe God’s report! Jesus dropped this truth “with faith” into my spirit, but no change in my condition manifested immediately.
Then my rheumatologist wanted me to have a liver biopsy to see how all the drugs were affecting my body. I didn’t feel right about doing that. He said he wouldn’t refill my prescriptions until I had the test. I felt led to stop taking the drugs. I did so immediately and I found I could function well without them. It was truly a miracle– “rigor mortis didn’t set in!” Praise God! He is faithful!
I suffered kidney failure in 2009 following a CT scan with contrast.
As my condition worsened and I felt I was dying, Jesus gave me this rhema word at 3 o’clock in the morning. “Peace be to you. Do not fear; you shall not die”. Judges 6:23
I was hospitalized and every test showed my kidneys worsen. When they dropped to 11% function the doctor pressed me to go on dialysis. I had God’s word that I would not die so I refused. They released me from the hospital believing I would be back within a week to start dialysis but my kidneys started improving during that week and over several months returned to over 60%. My rheumatologist was amazed and glad I didn’t go on dialysis.
Then the Lord gave me Heb 12:12-13 to avoid knee replacement surgery. I could go on but I just want to encourage you to listen for a rhema word from God and then stand on it. These trials we go through are to build relationship with God. As you know, Jesus loves you and will show Himself faithful. Rather than “name it and claim it,” I encourage you to “revere, hear, believe and receive.”
You can trust Him. His grace is sufficient for you and His will is perfect for your life.
May you receive a specific word about your condition from Jesus and the faith for results that comes with it!
Love your blog. And, thank you for visiting my WordPress blog.
Cherel,
Your testimony of healing (multiple times) was, indeed, inspiring and faith-building. I appreciate these words of encouragement, and I believe that the manifestation of healing is “just around the corner” for me. May God bless you and continue to use you for His glory and honor!
I’m sorry for your suffering. Praying for you!
Thank you, and God bless you.
God bless you Scott. I will join the rest and pray for you too. God is awesome. He is one big real miracle. Stay strong!
Your prayers are deeply appreciated.
I’ll keep you in my prayers. I had 1 crash and that was bad enough! x
Thank you, Martha.
My wife is battling cancer. If God does not heal her in this life…..He certainly will in the next.
We will pray for you…..
These bad things happened to you because I intend to work it together for your good (Romans 8).
These happened so that you would rely more on God who raises the dead (2 Corinthians 1).
This happened so that the gold and silver of your faith would be refined (1 Peter 1).
This thorn is so that the power of Christ would be magnified in your weakness (2 Corinthians 12).
God cannot make plain all he is doing, because there are millions and millions and millions and millions of effects of every event in our lives, the good and the bad. God guides them all. They all have micro purposes and macro purposes. He cannot tell us all of them because our brains can’t hold all of them.
Trust does not demand more than God has told us. And he has given us immeasurably precious promises that he is in control of all things and only does good to his children. And he has given us a very thick book where we can read story after story after story about how he rules for the good of his people.
Thank you, and God bless you, Ike. I will be praying for your wife. What is her name?
Carol. Thankyou.
